Third Coast Tactical Events are a 2-gun biathlon, competitive shooting events. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol, hiking an unknown distance, to predetermined courses of fire ranging in distance.

TEXAS COMPETITIVE SHOOTERS Texas Carbine 22 Rimfire Rescue Ranch

That time again for the Texas Carbine/Third Coast Tactical 2-gun Rimfire DMR Match on Sunday, December 21st, 2025. The match will consist of 8-10 stages. Some stages will use both rimfire/centerfire pistol and rimfire rifle.

There will be two classes: Semi-Auto, and Bolt.

Targets will be placed between 25-200yds and range from 3 MOA and larger.

Scoring will be Time Plus. Stages will have Par times between 90-120 seconds depending on the stage design. Competitors must engage steel targets to move onto other steel targets. Penalties will be given for targets not hit or neutralized. Stages will not have a round count limit.

This is NOT a run and gun/biathlon style competition, but there will be some movement between positions in some stages.

Don't forget on November 15, we will have a Texas Carbine 22lr Precision Night Match, part of the 22 Outlaw Series. Illuminated reticles strongly encouraged. No pistol for night matches. No white light allowed, colored lenses only for personal lights. 6-8 stages.
