Coming up at The Belfry on Sun, Nov 15 - an evening with Showman & Coole! After 20 years and thousands of shows together in bands including The Foggy Hogtown Boys and The Lonesome Ace Stringband, John Showman and Chris Coole have developed a deep, instinctive musical bond. Their sound lives in a unique space on the outskirts of old-time, bluegrass, and folk, weaving traditional fiddle tunes and classic songs with original music. Drawing from artists like John Hartford, Hank Williams, and The Band, the duo brings a fresh, personal perspective to American and Canadian roots music.
