Trail work opportunity on part of the Oregon Cascades course! Details below!

STA work party will be on Sunday, August 17th. We will be doing some brushing on Trail 99 / Metolius Windigo trail to clear overgrown manzanita and snow brush to improve the trail corridor and sight lines.

We will meet at 8am at Earthwood Development LLC 148 Sisters Park Dr in Sisters and after a short tailgate session we will car pool to the trailhead. We plan to work about half a day or earlier if the temperature gets too hot to work.

Our Team Leader for this work party is Arthur Turlak.

Please wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, and either hiking or work boots. STA will provide helmets, gloves, and safety glasses. Please bring sunscreen, lunch or something to snack on, and plenty of water (STA recommends at least 2 liters.)

RACE WEEK for Sisters Country 50K and Half Marathon is here!

We have a handful of spots left if anyone wants to jump in! Registration closes Friday May 2nd. Race date is Sunday May 4th.
