The rules

52/300 balls for both men and women provided

6`-15` arc limit

3 home runs a game, and then every home run after is an out. Runner must touch first base; all other runners must touch home plate!!

There will be one $10 unlimited homerun wristband per team.

There will be wristbands available for women for double runs per score. I'm thinking about 1 per team (one person on the team for the whole tournament, NO SWAPPING with anyone else), may make it 2 depending on the number of women that sign up. They will be $10 a wristband

2004 and above ASA-approved bats

There will be a net at the pitcher's mound (must be over the mound and set at the start of the inning). Any ball hit into the net is a foul ball!

No co-ed line in the outfield

If a man walks, the woman behind him can decide to hit or walk. If she walks, he goes to 2nd, and she goes to first

If a player is injured and cannot continue their next at-bat, it is an out, and then they are skipped after that

If you need a runner, it is the last out of the same s*x

Must field 2 women per inning

All players drafted, no more than 4 infielders (must be inside the grass), and 4 outfielders at any time

3-4 games guaranteed (depending on the amount of teams we have), seedings determined by wins and losses in pool play

1 hour time limit or 7 innings, except in the championship game

Run rule, 20 after 3, 15 after 4, and 10 after 5

The 3rd inning will be one pitch with no curtesy foul, either a walk or an out

The strike zone is the mat and home plate

All runners must touch the white home plate when scoring, unless the ump notifies both teams otherwise at the start of the game!!

Umps provided, they have the final decision, and the ability to eject you for that game. Any pitch deemed intentionally hit at the pitcher will be an automatic out and the player will be ejected

Infield fly rules apply if runners on 1st and 2nd

3rd out is automatically the catcher for the next field appearance

If a team has more women on their team, they will start with 2 runs

I have officially decided that the tournament will be held the second weekend of june moving forward, this year the tournament will be held june 12th to the 14th 2026!

I dont wanna compete with country fest and I cant take away from the frederic tournament the weekend before!

The dates for next year's tournament will be june 26th to the 28th 2026.

Country fest is the same weekend again this year. I thought about changing the date because of other tournaments but decided against it.

Also im still deciding on a name for the tournament and would love to hear everyone's ideas!

My name is Christopher Maslowski and I am the host of this tournament, but most of the softball community knows me as Slow.

To all the players, spectators, and concession stand staff, thank you for coming out yesterday! Special thanks to Siren Ball Park for allowing us to use their facilities, also!! None of this would've been possible without the ballpark and all of the players and their families being there!!!

Congratulations to team Sit On My Base for winning the tournament with a record of 5-1, knocking off The Swingers, who double-dipped in the ship, finishing with a record of 4-2!

3rd place went to Diamond Destroyers with a record of 1-3, and 4th place went to Liberty Ballers with a record of 0-4

Thank you to the 4 captains, Christina Red Falkenstein, Monica Falkenstein, Funk, and Zenzen for taking on the challenge of being a captain, and continuing to encouraging their teams through the warm weather!!

All pictures that were taken will be up by next Sunday, and I will post the dates of next year's tournament by then also!!
