WHAT IS HIDRI? HIDRI’s Purpose:

ROLE OF YPFDJ:
The role of the YPFDJ is to play a leading role in organising the young Eritreans and creating a platform where young Eritreans can play significant role to contribute towards building a viable state of Eritrea. ERITREAN YOUTH:
Eritrean youth have always played a critical and decisive role through out the Eritrean history struggle; a struggle that has taken generations.The current E

ritrean young generation is now sharing the burden of responsibility in both building prosperous Eritrea and challenging the threats to deny the Eritrean people from their endeavour to pursue complete national independence and the chance to live in peace and harmony. YPFDJ GOALS YPFDJ main goals are:
To build a strong, conscious and patriotic youth movement. To ensure the continuity of all the values of the popular front that enabled to serve the interest of Eritrean people. As children of the Diaspora, young Eritreans are constantly looking for ways to get a better understanding of their Eritrean identity. YPFDJ- NA recognized this issue youth today faced and developed a way for the children in their local communities to connect with their culture, heritage, and language by establishing a HIDRI program. HIDRI is an organization formed as a training ground to create strong, conscious, and patriotic youth that can play leadership roles in their respective communities- locally and abroad in Eritrea. Its mission is to educate young Eritreans about community organization, civic duty, and social responsibility. HIDRI aims to provide an environment where youth in high school can come together to reassert their identity, patriotism, and unity. HIDRI strives to educate Eritrean youth about their culture and dynamic history of Eritrea most of all assures the youth grow up to be young successful Eritreans. HIDRI'S MISSION AND PURPOSE:
HIDRI’s Mission: To build a strong, conscious and patriotic youth that can play a leadership role. To reassert the identity, patriotism and unity of Eritrean Youth;
2. To enhance the position and influence of Eritrean Youth in the communities of their respective cities and states;
3. To promote the participation of Eritrean Youth in the national reconstruction of Eritrea as well as guarding the sovereignty of Eritrea. HIDRI’s Goals & Objectives:
1. Nurture & retain Eritrean Identity
2. Organize Youth in high school to create a network
