The South Dakota music community lost one of its own this weekend.

Our 2026 SD Rock & Rollers Hall of Fame inductee, Karla Brown, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

For more than 30 years, Karla was a familiar voice on South Dakota radio, inspiring listeners and leaving a lasting legacy. We are proud to honor her as part of this year's Hall of Fame class.

Rest easy, Karla. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, coworkers, and everyone who knew and loved her.
