Whew! This years Harvest Festival was truly 🕺Grease LIGHTNING ⚡️

Mother Nature took the lightning part a lil too seriously on Sunday ⛈️ but everyone stuck it out and finished the weekend strong! 💪

The free game of “Loose Tooth Knockout” was a hit for all ages! So many kids stopped and played a few rounds! 🎯

🪨 Total # of Hidden Rocks found = 4 (there were 7 🤷‍♀️)

Total number of people painted = 🤯UNKNOWN ⁉️

We got so busy we forgot to keep track! 😵‍💫

However I am certain the most popular choice was (once again) = Unicorn 🦄

Thanks again to everyone that came out and supported! It was so great to see everyone come together at such a fun event for the community! Already so excited for next year!! 🤩

Who’s ready for Harvest Festival 2026 this weekend ⁉️ “Tell me about it, stud” 👠🎸👱‍♀️

Why, this event is automatic, it's systematic, it's hydromatic, why, it's grease lightning! ⚡️🪮

Sunflower Power face paint will be returning to offer face and body paint! Or just some glitter if you want to keep it simple! I will also be selling some small canvas paintings 🖼️

We proudly honor the “paint it forward” option for those who don’t want to BE painted but would love to spread that joy to someone else! Simply pay for the ticket and it goes up on the board until someone claims it! It’s been a hit so far 🥰

We will also have some hidden painted rocks 🪨 around the grounds! Each rock is good for 1 free face paint (one per person! We gotta let others have some fun too!) so be on the look out 👀

And finally we will have a fun little bag tossing game for kids to play while they wait! So c’mon down guys!! 🙌

Onawa RAGBRAI 2026 can be summed up in three words : hot 🥵 hot 🥵 HOT 🔥🔥🔥

But boy did our little town pull through!! The volunteers were on their A-game making sure the thousands of riders were hydrated, trash was picked up and shuttle rides provided! Plus amazing live entertainment from 🎶In Due Time 🎶 and more! Thank you to all who worked from dusk till dawn making it happen, your effort did not go unnoticed! 👷⛑️📇👮‍♂️🚴‍♀️👫👨‍🍳🏌️👨‍🏭👨‍🚒

The corn sweat 🌽 and sun ☀️ isn’t the best combo for water based paint 😅 but Sunflower Power 🌻 painted a grand total of 2️⃣7️⃣ people!

The most popular face paint choice was : 🫧🪼 Jellyfish 🪼🫧

Followed closely by : 💎✨Crystals ✨💎

Let’s hope the riders 🚲 make the rest of their journey across Iowa safely now that the worst heat has passed! If you made it through day 0/day 1 then you can make it through anything 🚵‍♀️ stay hydrated 💦✌️
