“When I first started, I was so nervous. I kept thinking, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing… I don’t know if I’m going to be able to finish this.’
Then we got to the mannequin labs, and honestly, that was scary too. I felt confused and unsure of what to do. But our instructor was so patient and kind. She showed us everything step by step and made sure we understood.
When it came time for clinicals, she was always there for us. Anytime we didn’t know how to do something, she helped us through it. I remember worrying about what other people thought, and she told me, ‘Don’t worry about them. You worry about me.’ And she was right.
By the end of the program, we made it. We finished. And looking back now, I’m so glad I didn’t give up.” - Lymoni W.
