when some amazing people on the mariner robotics team wanted to look for ways to make money to support their program, we knew exactly how we could help.

you guys have been BEGGING us for t-shirts, hats and more every single year. and we haven't been able to do it for a variety of reasons. but this year ... is different!

THE 2026 BAY TO BAY RUN IS CANCELLED

sometimes there aren't enough volunteers to get the necessary work done for an event. this year, the bay to bay run is suffering because of that.

the event has been run by the silver bay blue line club in the past, but they are unable to assist the silver bay recreation department with it this year (and most likely years to follow). they are looking to pass this event on to another team or organization that wants to use it as their own fundraiser.

we are sorry that this years event will be cancelled, but we hope that it is able to come back in the future with new volunteers.

BREAK OUT THE YEARBOOK!

rocky taconite was looking through old yearbooks this weekend and found one of his graduation pictures. he thought it would be fun to share it with all of you. he thought it would be even cooler if you shared yours too!

we're looking for vendors + crafters to join us for bay days this year. there is no better place to set up shop (and people watch) than in silver bay from july 10-12, 2026.

rocky thinks he's going to be selling pellets at his bauble bar, but we told him he's got other plans set in stone. 🤣

LET'S TALK BAY DAYS BANDS!

yes, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

we’ve been keeping this under wraps for a bit, but it’s finally time to start sharing who’s coming to silver bay this summer … and let’s just say this lineup is stacked.

we wanted big energy, fun shows, and bands that know how to turn a small north shore town into a full blown summer party … and that’s exactly what we got.

because when it comes to the biggest party on the north shore, the music has to deliver.

and this year … it absolutely will.

friday night we’re bringing back a bay days favorite ... The Dweebs!

if you’ve seen them before, you already know. if you haven’t … prepare yourself. this show is part concert, part comedy, part chaotic fun and somehow the whole family ends up loving it. kids, parents, grandma betty … everyone ends up dancing. it’s basically impossible not to have fun at a dweebs show.

then saturday night we crank it up.

first up is Atari The Band ... minnesota’s high-energy 80s variety band. think neon lights, big hair, synth-pop, rock anthems, and the songs you forgot you knew every word to. their whole mission is to bring the energy of the 80s back to life … and they absolutely deliver.

and then …

we close the night with Some Sh*tty Cover Band ... yes, that is actually their name and yes, they are anything but. this group is made up of members from successful original bands like Quietdrive, Take Cover, and The Usual Things. they’ve played thousands of shows and it shows. no gimmicks, no fluff … just an explosive live show that has made them one of the most in-demand cover bands in the state. boom.

saturday night is going to be loud, packed, and ridiculous in the best possible way. so start planning now. get the babysitter. call your friends. clear your schedule.

because when the bands show up …
we know you'll show up too.
