This isn't the usual photography you see on my venue page; however, I want to show this bad boy off and address this issue. This time of year, is optimum time for events, but people worry that the weather will be too cold and it will be cold inside the venue. Because of the design of the barn and being that it is all tin it actually warms up quite nicely even when the temps drop low in the night. Heating the venue up is not really our biggest concern. The sun does that quite well for us. If it is cold outside on a sunny day, it is usually the perfect temp inside. Yes, even if temps drop into the 30s at night. It is only when we have extreme cold or no sun that we need to supplement with a heat source. For that reason, I made the decision to purchase two of these heaters that operate off propane. Each heater is said to warm 3,125 square feet. With two that would be 6,250 square feet. The building including closed off spaces is 4,000 square feet, but I wanted to consider the height of the roof space and allow extra heating. This venue is still considered a "rustic" elegance style venue, so I am not trying to achieve perfect temps. I am trying to provide a source of supplemental heat for peace of mind. Those that may get cold easily can be seated closer to the heat source. They do make noise, but it is not offensive... and is much appreciated when you are cold. If you are considering an event this winter season, just know I am making it a priority to accommodate and warm you up, but it is very unlikely these will even be needed much. Also, when not in use at the venue the heaters will be available for rent through my rental business. January dates are available for events bookings at the venue. This is the perfect time to host a party! Message me to secure a date.
