Once the final brackets were up.....unfortunately, a few competitors did not have a match. If there was no competitor to form your bracket with your parameters, that indicates there was No Appropriate Match. A message was dispatched right?

GI | NO MATCH ---> We're sorry! No match was found for your GI category. Sorry! We will follow up with you next week. We hope to get a match at our next tournaments. (THIS IS THE FOLLOW-UP)

NOGI | NO MATCH ---> We're sorry! No match was found for your NOGI category. Sorry! We will follow up with you next week. We hope to get a match at our next tournaments. (THIS IS THE FOLLOW-UP)

However, no match can also happen for other reasons.
- No Match - Competitor Opponent Didn't Make Weight
- No Match - Opponent No Show or Sick
- Competitor Sick (24-Hour Notice Required)

Wow! Our biggest bracket!
#14 Gi / Male / Adults: Born 2004 - 1993 / White / 160 - 169 lbs.

Double elimination bracket (with a bronze fight)
The double elimination bracket (with a bronze fight) will forward winners to the final, losers will get a second chance in the repechage. The winner of the repechage can win the bronze.

Depending on when someone is eliminated they are moved down in the repechage in the corresponding round.

Hello Checkmat Headquarters Family,

There are 157 total competitors registered.

That's amazing! Hopefully, we will get to 200+!

Unfortunately, a few competitors DO NOT HAVE MATCHES. However, with your help, that can change!

Some might just need to move categories (weight or birth year) in order to be placed with other competitors to join a bracket or to form a bracket.

CAN YOU HELP US FIND MATCHES FOR THOSE IN RED?

WE ARE SURE THERE ARE STUDENTS IN YOUR ACADEMY THAT ARE AN EXACT MATCH TO THOSE WITHOUT BRACKETS!
