It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Buddy Flett. A truly remarkable blues musician, Buddy graced the stage of the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival for 20 out of its 21 years, and he was eagerly anticipating this year’s performance. πŸ’”

Buddy’s passion for music and his love for this festival was real and strong. He often said it was his favorite festival to play. His warm spirit, infectious smile, and genuine kindness touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Thank you, Buddy, for the music, the memories, and for being such a cherished friend. You will forever be missed but never forgotten. πŸ’™ 🎸
