Inspired by International Women's week, this conference focuses on three key aspects; Health, Empowerment, and Resilience or HER for short.

Wonderful Women's Wednesday everyone! Our featured speaker for the week is Denise Cook.
Denise Cook holds a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a degree in business from Centenary College, where she competed as a college gymnast all 4 years. She is the mom of 2 active teenagers, and personally enjoys running and training for triathlons, half marathons and marathons. Denise is a registered dietitian and personal trainer who is currently in the process of completing the Institute of Functional Medicine’s intensive course, Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP). She has worked in the field of nutrition and fitness for over 20 years and is passionate about using a functional nutrition “whole body” approach to healing the body, preventing disease, and enhancing one’s quality of life.

Women's Wednesday kicks off with our amazing featured speaker, Eydie Comeaux!
Eydie Comeaux comes to us with a strong background in Training & Development. She has 35 years of experience in leading workshops, training, and consulting in both the business world and church retreats. She is proudly employed by Willis-Knighton Health System as their Engagement Officer for their five hospitals and is certified in Patient Advocacy.
She is the recipient of the Phil Harris Fellowship Award with Rotary club, the RYLA Distinctive Speaker Award, the Gwendolyn Richardson Educator of the Year Award, The SAES Ken Bastian Service Award, The VOA Volunteer of the Year Award and the 2009 Athena Award in Bossier City, as well as Professional Trainer of the Year Award in 2017 for the Association of Talent & Development. She serves on the Mayor’s Commission for Women in Bossier City and The ATHENA board with Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. She is the author of 2 books, one on parenting issues, one on forensic interviewing of abused children, and just finished her third, The ABC’s of Business, which is in its final edit.
