We should have added this name to that trivia segment we've been doing because, as far as we know, Jeremy Mayfield has never raced at Shenandoah Speedway before. That should change on Saturday, October 10th as word we have received is he currently intends on competing in the Super Cup Stock Car Series twin 50s as a teammate to Chrissy Wallace.

In addition to his 5 career NASCAR Cup Series wins from the late 1990s through the mid 2000s, Jeremy has competed at numerous short tracks over recent time. That includes a pair of runner-up results at Carteret County Speedway back in early June with the SCSCS.

Power wheels derby rules 🛞

1. Any Regular Electric Power Wheels is allowed
2. Kids 3-10 years of age may participate
3. Helmets MUST be worn at all times.
4. You are allowed up to a 18 VOLT battery (battery CAN NOT be mounted in the passenger seat); battery MUST be secured and sealed away from the child.
5. All Power Wheels must have a door (cardboard or plastic) to keep the child in the power wheels at all times.
6. All doors and tailgates MUST BE strapped shut. NO SHARP EDGES!!! ;Use zip ties or duct tape or other flexible products for keeping them shut.
7. MOTOR MUST REMAIN STOCK, ONLY MODIFICATION ALLOWED IS USING ALTERNATE BATTERY.
8. Decorative changes can be made to the power wheels to make it look like a derby car, however it cannot reinforce the power wheels (only add decoration - example: header pipes sticking up).

Please remember this is for the kids!!!!!! If there is any modifications that are made that should not have been, your child WILL NOT!!! Be able to run, and will be very disappointed.
