BBQ friends and family, I apologize for our lack of posts over the last 2 months. Our team has had a rough start to 2026. From losing a family friend suddenly and unexpectedly, to illnesses among our team and family, one of which was very serious, to losing a family member. We are back and will be posting our first teams who have registered in the next few days. We are looking forward to our 5th ShenDig and are actively preparing an amazing event for our community and competitors! We have used feedback from teams and the community to change a few things, just as we do every year. Our commitment to hosting this event for our community and teams is unwavering. We look forward to seeing everyone in July!

Team sign-up is now live! Please click the link below to access the application. 2026 Shenandoah ShenDig BBQ Championship will be held July 17th & 18th behind the Elks Lodge. New for 2026 is a One-Meat Chicken competition on Friday.

We will also be providing a BBQ meal for the first 250 spectators on Friday night. We are looking for one team to cook the meat (provided by ShenDig) for the meal in exchange for the Master's Series registration fee. The first team to contact us via [email protected] will be chosen.
