The Red Cross is in critical need of blood donations, and your donation could help save a life of someone who needs it most.

OK Shelby County! No joke - The Back-to-School Event is TOMORROW!!!! Get to bed early tonight, make time for a healthy breakfast in the morning, and do your stretches and warm-up your muscles before you arrive!

*******Saturday, July 25th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Shelbyville Conference Center, 219 7th Street in Shelbyville, Kentucky*******

Ready Fest provides back-to-school supplies to EVERY SCHOOL CHILD in Shelby County, regardless of income level.
And, because getting ready for Back-to-School doesn’t end with pencils and paper, Ready Fest provides backpacks, school supplies, shoes, socks, un**es, hygiene products, dental screenings, physicals, vaccinations, and haircuts to any student in Shelby County, at absolutely no cost.

You can park at Southside Elementary and take a free trolley ride into the Shelbyville Conference & Welcome Center.

Or, you can drive, bike, walk, skip, skateboard, or pedal your penny farthing in to join us. We've got an extra Capri-Sun for anyone who arrives on a penny farthing, unicycle, or zebra. And, don't just paint stripes on your horse and try to pass it off as a zebra. We dealt with that last year and we're getting pretty good at telling the difference.

We've got some beautiful new artwork in our lobby courtesy of the Shelby Regional Arts Council! If you're interested in bringing "Arizona Sunset" or "Spring Forward" to your home or office, they are on sale through the Arts Council. For now, we're thrilled to give them a home. 😍
