🍂 This stretch of beautiful fall weather has us reminiscing about when we were all together at the 2025 NC Liver Mush Festival just a few weeks ago — the same golden sunshine, cool breeze, and warm smiles all around. ☀️🎶

What a wonderful day it was celebrating our community — from the live music and local vendors to the delicious liver mush (of course!) and all the friendly faces and pets that filled the streets. 🐾💛

We’re so grateful to our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and community partners who made it all possible. Your support is what keeps this tradition strong year after year.

The final totals are in! 🥳

Our best estimate for the amount of liver mush served at the 2025 NC Liver Mush Festival is an incredible 2,674 pounds! If you stacked those 1-lb blocks end to end, they’d stretch almost half a mile! 🛣️

A huge thank-you to all of our amazing food vendors, Uptown Shelby restaurants, and especially Mack's Livermush & Meats for helping us level up our mush game this year.

Happy rainy ! 🌧️🍴

Congratulations to our 2025 Liver Mush Eating Contest champions!

Our reigning 8-time champ, Michael Ellis, held his title and broke his own 2024 record—devouring 36 oz. of mush in just 9 minutes! 🏆 His brother took 2nd place with 32 oz., and our 3rd place finisher wasn’t far behind at 28.8 oz.

This was a record-breaking year with more than 30 contestants competing! Huge thanks to our amazing emcee, Molly Huss, for keeping the crowd on edge and the energy high as our mush-eating legends powered through.

🎉 What a day in the Land of Rhythm Kids Zone!

A big THANK YOU to our friends at HomeTrust Bank and Central United Methodist Church for helping make our Kids Zone such a hit!

From mini pumpkin painting 🎃 to the Poetry Fox 🦊, balloon creations by Ross the Balloon Guy 🎈, and the Dover Foundation YMCA fun zone 🏌️ — it was a day full of smiles and creativity.
