Shawano Miles of Art Tour Shawano Country "Miles of Art” is a fall celebration of the arts and nature throughout Shawano and Menominee Counties (Shawano Country). Thank you!

Join us Sunday, October 6th, 2024, from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at our host studio locations:
- Aschenbrener Bronze
- The Novitiate, A Healing Ground
- Off The Wall Art Studio & Gallery The event will include self-guided tours of area artists’ studios and galleries, Walls of Wittenberg murals, Shawano Country Barn Quilts, Gresham Community Quilts, live music, and dancing, combined with colorful fall drives. Please wear a mask to our event places and spaces if you are not vaccinated against Covid-19.

After recovering for a couple of weeks, we wanted to come back out here and give a tremendous THANK YOU to every single one of you who came out and visited our sites for this year's Miles of Art event. We're always pleasantly surprised at how many of you come out in support of this special event, and this year, even on a Sunday*!

***MILES OF ART IS THIS SUNDAY, 10/6/24***

Shawano’s annual fall art show “Miles of Art” features work from the Northeastern Wisconsin community’s fine artists and artisans, shown at various sites around the county. For 13 years, Miles of Art has aimed to focus on fine art and elevated craft, in order to share the area’s talent with attendees. The Sunday, October 6th, 2024, event is free and open to the public.

The event has several artist display sites and studios open to the public from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 6th , 2024. Each site features a variety of media and artistic styles.

The 2024 Miles of Art site locations are as follows, with the historic
Novitiate site being the main event location:

We've had a date change!

2024's Miles of Art event will now take place on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at The Novitiate - A Healing Ground, as well as at our satellite studio locations around Shawano Country (Shawano & Menominee Counties), which we'll share with you closer to the event date. Additional details will be forthcoming.

If you're interested in joining the Miles of Art Board, volunteering to help out the day of the event, or are a fine artist who is interested in being a MoA vendor, please reach out to us via DM or at [email protected] - we'd love to talk with you!

Shawano-Menominee Miles of Art is back for Fall 2024 and we're seeking local and regional fine artists to join us for our one-day studio tour and fine art event. This year's event date is Saturday, October 5th, 2024.

Entry is $75, pending review of your work by our board. For participation consideration, please send your name, phone number, email, and 2-3 examples of your work to us right here, via DM (direct message) no later than May 15th, 2024.

We've been around since 2011, making Miles of Art about to turn 13 years old, but will it be a LUCKY 13?

Here's the rub: We really, really need volunteers for our board (we meet about once a month) and for helping with the event prep and production, which takes place in early October. If we do not get volunteer help and board members, Miles of Art will cease to exist. Our events are successful, but the same handful of folks has been putting on MoA for YEARS and we need new people to join in.

If you are interested in helping out and joining us in putting on our community's signature fine art event, please DM us or text (715) 853-1513 today - and help our non-profit art tour turn 13!

Saturday is Miles of Art! Please come and visit us from 10-5 at any and all of our sites - we'd love to see you.

Admission is free to the public. Our satellite studio sites would appreciate visits, so come out to our main site at The Novitiate, but don't forget to stop and check out our other sites (reference the attached flier for details).
