Google wanted to build a big, playful display for their NYC lobby.
A giant screen would have been easy. But touching a screen just isn’t that fun.
So we went with something different: 5,880 light-up arcade buttons that act as pixels and respond to touch.
We used Google’s Anypixel.js framework to illustrate how any object can be a pixel. And we showed that an interactive display doesn’t need to be a screen.
We’re not in the business of usual. Are you?
