Ok, here's the other part of our Friday night activities (besides the BBQ and outdoor movie).

We're having a fund-raising poker game in the High Desert Ranger Saloon. It's a $20 buy in with unlimited $10 re-buys (because it's a fund-raiser) and we'll be offering a first-place prize of $250, with $100 for second place, and $50 for third.

We'll have old-fashion soda, cold beer, and the bartender serving up drinks, as well as nachos and chicken wings available to order.

There are 25 seats available, and the game starts at 7:00 on Friday. So grab some smoked tri-tip at our BBQ, a cold drink, and try your hand.

Ok, we got a little promo flier put together for the outdoor movie this year at Shaniko Days. Tombstone!!

We'll have a big outdoor screen and a great speaker set-up, so bring any outdoor chairs or blankets you'd like to use. We'll have some chairs, but I'm sure we'll need more than just what we have. You can sit up close by the screen, or on a blanket in the grass to the back; whatever you want to do to be comfortable, just come enjoy one of the all-time great western movies!

Friday night will be a free BBQ for the first 30 people to come to the saloon and get a ticket. The food will start around 5:30, and tickets for the meal can be obtained in the saloon, starting at 5:00.

We're welcoming Dammit Dan's BBQ, who will be set up at the Stagecoach Station, and BBQing with us all weekend. So be sure to come hang out, grab some delicious food and your favorite drink, and enjoy Shaniko Days!

Seattle's bartender-extraordinaire, Billy Bandito to all of us, will be serving up drinks in the Stagecoach Station Saloon Friday and Saturday at Shaniko Days this year. Whether you just want a cold beer or an old-fashioned, come hang out and enjoy a good time!

Hey everyone! Here's a schedule for what will be going on at the Saloon and Stagecoach Station for Shaniko Days this year.

This is just an overview schedule and we'll be following up with more information on the different activities like the Poker Game and Gunfights, and whatnot.

It's gonna be a great weekend so we hope to see all of you there!

Another great weekend in the saloon. We had board games being played at one table, dice games at another, and people enjoying themselves at the bar.

The next morning a group of Boy Scouts that were staying in town came and pounded down some nails on the front boardwalk. What a great group of young men they were!

We've only been open a few weeks this season and already we've had an amazing bluegrass band play out back of the saloon, a car club that spent the night in Shaniko and hung out in the saloon with us, a wedding, and several cyclist groups. And to top all that off, each group has been such awesome people!
Here's a few pictures of what's happened so far, and on the first weekend of August we'll be celebrating Shaniko Days with food, more music, a band, gunfights, and all kinds of other fun. So keep a watch out for a schedule that will be posted soon!

Having a heck of a good time tonight in the saloon here in Shaniko. We've got a campfire out back and even spontaneous live music inside!

GOOD NEWS!! Early reviews of Horizon 2 did not impress critics...which is a surefire way to know that it's probably really good!

Considering that most American critics downgraded the movie for not being woke enough, I think we can take their dislike as a sign the series in continuing in a positive and authentic direction. I can't wait to see the second part!
