We are heart broken to hear of the passing of Keith Thorpe. He provided an eye into life on the Peninsula.

No large events including the Olympic Peninsula Air Affaire are planned at Sequim Valley Airport in 2026 due to construction that will improve the airport for the future. Thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors who made the past Air Affaire events successful.
Look for possible smaller events at the Airport this summer such as EAA meetings, and tethered balloon flights. Upcoming construction projects should help lead to better facilities for future aviation events at the airport.
Other 2026 Western Washington aviation activities include:

Jul 11-12: Bremerton Air Show 2026 – Bremerton
Jul 31-Aug 2: Boeing Seafair Air Show 2026 – Seattle (Genesee Park)
Aug 21-23 Arlington Air-fest 2026- Arlington Municipal Airport
The Port Townsend Aero Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday at Jefferson County Airport.
The EAA will be conducting Young Eagles rallies on June 6, July 11 and August 15 at William Fairchild Port Angeles Airport.

Event is family friendly, gates open at 8:30, enjoy the day with planes, cars, helicopter rides, WWII plane rides, Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides (ride prices are per vendor) they are first come first served. Live Music, Food and Vendors.
$10 per carload so gather your friends and join the fun.
Show and Shine is open class,, gates open at 8:15 $5 per entry paid at the sign in table.
Planes can "drop in" anytime.
We never know who might fly in!
