The moves are coming together, and Skid Row is getting into step!

Choreographer Heather Statham is excited about the progress as the choreography for Little Shop of Horrors takes shape! From Dr. Orin Scrivello, DDS (Gus Carver), to our fabulous Urchins (Danielle Houff, Dayziah Webb, Kinsley Webb), every rehearsal brings new energy as the cast perfects the movement, music, and scenes that make this show come to life.

The sets are shaping up, the scenes are falling into place, and the choreography is growing into something special. We can’t wait for you to see it all come together!

FROM SKETCH TO SKID ROW

It takes a lot of work to bring the world of Little Shop of Horrors to life. Creating the inside of Mushnik’s Flower Shop and the surrounding streets of Skid Row takes more than just a little imagination.

It all starts with a sketch, a 2x4, and Troy Galloway’s extraordinary vision. From the first lines on paper to the framework taking shape, every piece of this set is helping transform our stage into the gritty, quirky world of Little Shop.

Take a look at the set at a few different stages of its journey. There’s still plenty of work to do, but Skid Row is starting to grow!

🎭Tuesday night was the beginning of something magical! 🎭

Families joined us for our Broadway Kids Club informational meeting, where they met our incredible team and learned more about the purpose, heart, and vision behind the club.

Our new students also participated in their first of many Magic Circles, a special Broadway Kids Club tradition where they share the magic of theatre, connect with one another, and create a space where every young performer feels seen and celebrated.

Then, students explored the history and tradition of theatrical masks, learning about their significance before putting their creativity to work and designing unique creations of their own!

We are so excited for all that is ahead for this group. The magic has officially begun!
