Anon Events + Sea of Dreams has hosted 18 years of spectacular New Years Eve-O-lutions, both in San Francisco and Sebastopol. Whoda thunk? It's been a fantastic odyssey of music, art, performance and epic creative fun, all rolled into ONE LOVE! Far more than we ever could have imagined on that fateful day in 2000 when we dreamt up the idea sitting on the dock of the Bay.

After much reflection, we've decided to take this NYE off to focus on some time sensitive family needs that beckon and the travel plans dancing in our heads. It feels fulfilling to be of service and nurture our passions in this way as 2018 draws to a close. You never know how long you have with the people you love most and our sixth sense says not to wait.

The year 2020 will be the 20th anniversary of SEA OF DREAMS NYE and we've already set the intention to come back for one perhaps final SeaScape as a fitting tribute to the legendary event we've grown and loved over the last two decades!

In the meantime, we know it's been another challenging year and we request that you be extra kind and gentle to yourselves and each other in these remaining weeks. Keep the faith, California! We wish you a wonderful holiday season and New Year. We hope that 2019 opens up infinite avenues of positive change, new opportunities, grand plans, abundant love, peace in our communities and on Planet Earth. Let's manifest it together! We serendipitously stumbled upon Royal Jelly Jive's "Stand Up" video which instantly perked our ears. "Coincidentally" they were playing in Sebastopol just a few days later. Upon witnessing their infectious stage presence and Lauren Bjelde's powerhouse vocals in the flesh, our gut instincts confirmed: we must "spread the jelly" and book 'em for NYE immediately! Feeling the need to incorporate live music into Sea of Dreams NYE 2018: EmerGenSEA, we're confident this sextet will deliver all the electricity we're aiming to ignite! Royal Jelly Jive is conjuring some special surprises for this show and leading the charge of our midnight countdown. Subud Hall is about to get the royal treatment, so buckle up, Dreamers! This fun-loving class act is the cat's pajamas AND the dog's tuxedo, all rolled into one. Couldn't be more thrilled to ring in 2018 with them + YOU!
