Panda Fest Seattle takes over Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion through tomorrow, August 30, and after eating our way around the festival, I can confirm: come hungry 🤤

Here’s what you’ll find:

🥟 60+ food vendors + food trucks
🍜 200+ dishes from across Asia
💸 Plenty of budget-friendly bites under $10
🛍️ 20+ marketplace vendors
🎭 Live entertainment + cultural performances
🐼 A GIANT 15-foot inflatable panda
✨ Panda-themed treats, drinks, games, merch + photo ops
🎪 Panda bounce house
🎁 PLUS two free gifts with admission - a special Seattle Panda Fest pin + panda headband

And more than 50% of the food vendors are from the Seattle area, which means you can eat your way around Asia while supporting a whole lot of local businesses.

They’ve also upgraded security + entry logistics this year with metal detection, bag checks, expanded check-in lanes and an enclosed festival footprint.

Panda Fest felt a little different this year.

After a difficult few weeks in Seattle, there was understandable hesitation around large events. But this weekend was a reminder of what can happen when people still choose to come together.

Food, culture, families, local businesses, and a lot of good energy filled Seattle Center — with 50% of the vendors coming from right here in Seattle.

More than a food festival, this felt like a weekend our city needed. 🐼❤️
