We’re excited that registration for the 2026 Seattle Metro Classic presented by UW Medicine opens Thursday, April 2nd at 12:00 PM (PST).

This tournament fills fast every year—set your alarms, hydrate, stretch, whatever you need to do. It’s go time.

Also, Seattle Metro Winter Classic Medalists had a 24-hour head start on registration, so you may see a few folks already in your event even if you smash that submit button in record time.

Two big differences between the Seattle Metro Winter Classic and its summer sibling:

1. The winter is a round robin format, NOT a double elimination tournament. Which means even if you have that one "clunker" of a game, your gold medal hopes won't be completely dashed!

2. Singles! Frankly, we simply don't have the space for singles at the Summer Classic, but the Winter Classic is being held at beautiful (and spacious) Side Out Tsunami Pickleball Center which means lots of room, and singles division for the first time at a Metro Classic tournament! Bonus - if you medal in singles you still get early registration for doubles at the Summer Classic.

Only 5 days left to register for the Seattle Metro Winter Classic!

Remember, all medal winners in the Winter Classic get early registration for the Summer Classic. Here are the details:

Who Qualifies: All gold, silver, and bronze medalists from any Winter Classic bracket qualify for 24-hour early access to register for the Summer Classic.

Registration Dates: Winter medalist can register for the summer beginning April 1 at 12pm. General registration begins on April 2, 12pm

Other Details:
Early registration improves your chances but does not guarantee entry; events may still fill quickly.

Medalists in all singles events at the Winter Classic receive early registration for any event they qualify for at the Summer Classic.

Your partner for the Summer Classic does not need to be the same partner as the Winter Classic.

If your Summer Classic partner does not qualify for early registration, you can still designate them as your partner, but they will need to wait for general registration to open on April 2nd. Your designated partner will have one week to register or you will be dropped to the waitlist.

Register for the Winter Classic closes January 31st.
