TOMORROW - Douceur: A Micro-Friendly Toolkit

Douceur is a close-embrace partner dance characterized by gently-led movements, follow/lead energy matching, and not a lot of stepping (but a little bit is okay!). This type of dance is typically found at urban kiz events, usually during the mellowest, dreamiest parts of a DJ set or a song. 🫠

In this month’s class, we will explore foundations of douceur - body isolations, mindset, and some musicality options - that can immediately be applied to your social dancing. Come prepared for some mellow dancing, mellow music, and a chance to practice and calibrate your movements in both roles of the dance partnership.
