Inhabit Conference

Inhabit Conference Inhabit is a gathering for place-based practitioners reimagining church and transforming neighborhoods. The next Inhabit is April 27-28, 2018.

Inhabit was founded in 2010 through an energetic partnership between The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and the Parish Collective in the United States. Through a series of events, both organizations began to entertain a simple hunch: What if God is up to something really big and global but it can only be discovered through the small and local? It was through the exploration of that questi

on that Inhabit was born – a gathering for the sake of reimagining church and transforming neighborhoods. Each year hundreds of practitioners, pastors, entrepreneurs, community leaders and lay people from all over the globe come together to connect, collaborate and celebrate the good work being done in thousands of neighborhoods and parishes. These are the people who are empowering others to join in the commitment with the Spirit’s work in one’s own particular neighborhood and context, that then illuminates fresh hope for the church in the 21st century.

It is with a heavy heart that we must share the news that the Inhabit Conference 2020 will be postponed.

Our partners at The Seattle School have made the decision to shut down classes and events through April, which makes our decision very simple.

We are hopeful that we will be able to reschedule toward the end of June, but are not able to give finalized dates at this time.

While postponing a conference does not get anywhere close to the complications and threats of this virus, as you can imagine, this is still a major complication for us.

Please keep all those involved in your fervent prayers, and remember the ancient words of Saint Paul via Eugene Peterson's paraphrase, "You are Christ's body - that's who you are! You must never forget this.“ (1 Corinthians 12:27 - MSG) Don't forget friends, don't ever forget.
