Field Trip: The Heron’s Nest team went to Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center and are now crushing so hard! Huge gratitude to their Education Team for hosting us and introducing us to the Native Plant Team. We are so inspired by what you are doing and looking forward to our future adventures together.

Request for support on building the outdoor community culture kitchen for harvesting food, growth, gatherings and cultural importance to the The Heron’s Nest Site volunteer team has been working on this project for over two years. We have the permits to build thanks to and .revolution . We just need your support to make this dream come true. When the Herons nest land back project began in 2021, the site was deemed a hazardous waste zone located in the Duwamish River Valley, and in just four years time we have transformed the land back into an innovative gathering space for all to grow together, heal and tend the surrounding duwamish lands and waterways by creating a space that is accessible for all we can only strengthen the community and health of the .
