Admission is free, but to guarantee the best views of the fireworks over Lake Union, reserved seating is available for purchase.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy food vendors, live entertainment and exhibit booths. For those 21+, quench your thirst in our beer garden. Kids of all ages are invited to participate in the All-American Games featuring pie-eating contests, sack races and more.

July 4th, 2016! The fireworks start at 10:20 p.m. and last approximately 20 minutes. The show features nearly 8,500 pounds of fireworks with fantastic displays set to a soundtrack celebrating our nation’s independence. Western Display Fireworks, a fourth generation family owned business offering the finest in pyrotechnic productions, produces the show. With over 60 years of experience, Western Display Fireworks is the oldest and largest aerial display company in the Northwest and is a part of hundreds of celebrations annually. The fireworks are fully choreographed to the Seafair Summer Fourth musical score, utilizing cutting edge technology and featuring crowd favorites like the weeping willow fireworks.

Attention Boaters:
Boaters crossing 520 on their way to Lake Union from Lake Washington use caution:
They have changed the passage point to a very narrow section of bridge supports about 75 yards WEST of the existing high rise. Follow the marker buoys and remember "Red Right Return". Going through this morning we counted 10 boats crossing the closed section, and only one other boat using the correct path. I'm sure there's a good reason for the move, not the least of which include submerged cables. I know it's going to be very hazardous going through there tonight after the fireworks. Stay safe everyone!

Thursday night's annual Seattle fireworks show was marred by a destructive fire at a boat storage facility on Lake Union, which sent thick plumes of black smoke into the air just minutes before the official fireworks show began.
