Something worth celebrating about this city on a Sunday. πŸ–€

Scranton was built by people who came from everywhere. Wave after wave of immigrants who arrived for the coal and the steel and ended up building something that lasted β€” their churches, their food, their traditions, their neighborhoods woven into the fabric of this city in ways you can still feel today.

And Scranton keeps growing. Keeps changing. Keeps welcoming new voices and new stories into the mix.

At Scranton Fringe, we believe that richness deserves a stage. All of it. It's why we work year round β€” and why every October we throw open the doors to the Fringe Festival and celebrate everything this community has to offer.

The sign outside Crunch at The Marketplace at Steamtown is a prop from The Office β€” fictional Scranton. But "Embracing Our People, Our Traditions & Our Future"? That part is very, very real. πŸ–€

Next week is a big one for Scranton Fringe. πŸ–€

June 4 and 5 is NEPA Gives β€” the region's 24-hour online giving day β€” and this year we're working toward raising $10,000. That money goes directly toward keeping tickets affordable, paying local artists, funding youth theater workshops, and keeping Scranton Fringe growing.

We're well into our 11th year and none of it happens without this community showing up. Head to our NEPA Gives page now and hit donate on June 4th. Every single dollar counts. πŸ™

It's a long weekend, Scranton β€” and yes, we know it's not exactly beach weather. ☁️

But honestly? A gray May long weekend in NEPA has its own charm. Get out there, see your people, find a good spot. And when you're back? Scranton Fringe has a very big June lined up and we cannot wait to share it with you.

Enjoy the long weekend, NEPA. We'll be ready when you are. πŸ–€

Some productions stay with you long after the curtain falls. πŸ–€

Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie was one of those β€” and what made it even more special was YOU. Scranton showed up for our new home at The Sanctuary Theatre in a way that genuinely moved us. Night after night, the room was full of people who leaned in, felt every moment, and reminded us exactly why we do this.

These stunning images are the work of photographer Brent Pennington β€” and we think they capture everything that made this production so extraordinary.

This season is just getting started. If Glass Menagerie is any indication of where 2026 is headed, you are going to want to be paying attention. πŸŽπŸ–€
