The most popular and sought after big band of all time returns to Scranton for an evening of swing music at The Theater at North!

In the mood for swing music? Take a step back in time with the most popular and sought after big band of all time!

Join us on Tuesday, October 27th at 7pm as The World-Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra performs their greatest hits including “In The Mood,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “American Patrol,” “A String Of Pearls,” “Little Brown Jug,” “Pennsylvania 6-5000,” “Tuxedo Junction,” and of course their theme song “Moonlight Serenade” as they continue their national tour.

The 15-member orchestra, their lead singers, and vocal group will perform their catalog of big band classics just the way they would have over 80 years ago when Glenn Miller stood in front of his band. It is a show that continues to transport audiences back in time and is as nostalgic as it is exciting. Touring continuously since 1956, The Glenn Miller Orchestra is featured in over 200 concerts and dances per year. Each performance includes the timeless classics that made them famous the world over in a show that has moved audiences for generations.

This loving tribute takes you on an incredible journey through the careers of the six-time Grammy Award winner, twenty-time platinum hit maker Carole King (as performed by Phoebe Katis), and five-time Grammy Award winner, and American folk legend James Taylor (as performed by Dan Clews).

This live performance features passionate renditions of "Fire and Rain," "Sweet Baby James," "I Feel the Earth Move," "Natural Woman," "You've Got a Friend," and many more, this astonishing back catalogue is realized with authenticity by Phoebe Katis and Dan Clews, both well-established artists in their own right.

TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT! Come enjoy an evening with "Imagine” A John Lennon Tribute Concert tonight at 7pm.

Scot Michael Arch appears as John Lennon on vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, and keyboards and harmonica!

Scot's portrayal of John is so spot on that he was chosen and filmed against a green screen backdrop and used as the template for John Lennon in the 2009 official “The Beatles Rock Band” game.

Scot performed with original cast members of “Beatlemania,” the Tony Award winning Broadway show. After the show closed, he formed, produced, and performed in his own presentation, "Beatlemania Now" a tribute to the 60's and the group that shaped them, the Beatles, a reprise of "Beatlemania," which he continues to this day.
"Beatlemania Now" has performed throughout Cities in the United States and in countries as far away as Russia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Panama, Curacao, Mexico, and Spain, and shared stages with Artists such as Billy Joel, Cheap Trick, America, Wilson Pickett, Cinderella, The Ho***rs, Felix Cavalieri of the Rascals, Blood Sweat and Tears, Mitch Ryder of the Detroit Wheels, and The Rip Chords.

In 2014, Scot and "Beatlemania Now" were selected from the most Elite Beatles Tribute Acts in the Country, to re-create The Beatles very 1st Concert in America (February 11, 1964), at the Washington Coliseum Arena in Washington, DC in honor of the occasions 50th Anniversary. In doing so, Beatlemania Now followed Tommy Roe, the “Opener” from the original 1964 Concert, and performed to another “Sold-Out” crowd at the very same Washington Coliseum. The Event was covered by media worldwide.
