As June begins, so does a new beekeeping year and the start of our spring honey harvest.
Over the years, we have worked hard to keep our honey prices affordable and have avoided raising them despite increasing costs. Unfortunately, due to rising expenses for supplies, equipment, and especially fuel, we will be adjusting our prices beginning in June.
After researching local honey prices, we found that many producers are charging $12 per pound, with some selling honey for as much as $13–$16 per pound. Even with these increases in the market, we want to keep our honey priced on the lower end.
Beginning in June, our popular 16 oz bottle of honey will be $12 per bottle.
This was not a decision we made lightly, but it is necessary to help us continue providing the quality honey you have come to expect. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and are grateful for the support you have shown our family and our beekeeping operation over the years.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for supporting local beekeepers! 🍯🐝
