Carnival starts WEDNESDAY. Gates open at 5:30; rides start at 6 PM. NEW midway vendor, C&M Southern Midways.

The Jackson County Fair Association CARNIVAL at the Veterans Fairgrounds on Cecil Street in Scottsboro is from Wednesday, May 27 thru Saturday May 30.

The Jackson County Fair Association is made up entirely of members of the VFW Post 6073 and American Legion Post 30 and respective Auxiliaries. We sponsor the Jackson County Spring Carnival and Fall Fair. We are in need of the following items for our buildings on the Jackson County Veterans Fairgrounds here in Scottsboro.

2 ea appx 54" used chicken house fans to use at the end of our long Commercial Building to pull air thru the building. Our existing used fans have broken down

4 ea used or new 36" wide exterior doors (residential or commercial) with or without frame.

Evan Roden, 2025 Jackson County Open Youth Beef Livestock Show Supreme Champion with his heifer American Beauty, and Cattle Show Judge, David Fickin. Evan won a custom buckle from Molly's Custom Silver.

Looking forward, you can be assured that we will be working very hard to make the 2026 Spring Carnival and Fall County Fair a place for enjoyment for all families.
