SO SAD to announce this:
After many years of Christmas Lights setups,
I am posting this with a heavy heart.
I love the lights and everything that comes with it... but I am officially done in #2024! This is taking up too much of my time. I’m struggling to keep up with the everyday chores of cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the home, so something must give. I have decided to get rid of all my gear.

A dear “Christmas Light” friend, Steve, passed away this morning. Really saddened by the loss. Steve was always willing to help with my display and talking Christmas lights. He will be greatly missed. Love your family and friends this holiday season.

A year ago today, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away in January. Instead of feeling glum on this day, my dad would want us to be shining brightly. He was a loving father, my best friend, and a supporter of my Christmas light obsession from a young age. He was always there to help me set up the Christmas lights in the fall and pack away extension cords on New Year’s Day. Today we announce that Stallion Lights will be back this year! I just finished building this battery-powered tree for my dad’s grave, so he can have part of Stallion Lights with him.

We won a major award today! The cost of receiving the award is too high, so we are going to save our money and buy more lights.

Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day, we bow our hearts to You and pray. We give You thanks for all You've done, especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son. For beauty in nature, Your glory we see, for joy and health, friends, and family. For daily provision, Your mercy and care, these are the blessings You graciously share.
