Please join us on April 25th at St. James for this outdoor community event! There will be a live Patriotic Choir, The Coal-Fired Ramblers Bluegrass Band, and Dave Ingerson from The New Black Sage Project performing live music! The menu will be pulled pork, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and birch beer on tap! George Washington's Farewell Address and Thanksgiving Proclamation will be read by Kelly Boyd from Schuylkill Christian Church. This is a great way to celebrate our Christian heritage from the Church of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and our American Independence on this 250th Anniversary! This is all happening at Schuylkill Haven's oldest church, St. James Episcopal.

Hi Friends!
We are very excited to announce our biggest local Christmas and bluegrass music performance! We are teaming up with St. James Episcopal Church in Schuylkill Haven on 12/20/25 at 4:30 for their first annual "Ye Old Village Church Yuletide Dinner and Bluegrass Music Celebration" 🎄. You don't want to miss this fundraiser event to get you in the spirit of Christmas! The doors open at 4:30pm with light refreshments and The Coal-Fired Ramblers will perform a show of bluegrass themed Christmas music. The performance will be from 5pm-6pm, followed by an old fashioned Christmas Yuletide Dinner which will include ham, turkey, and goose. There will also be lots of traditional holiday goodies and drinks including egg nog and old English Christmas puddings. The cost for the music performance, refreshments and full Dinner will be $12 per adult and $6 per child. 🎄🎻 All proceeds will benefit St. James Church. Reservations are not required but will be helpful.

Hi Friends,
If you are looking for a fun Halloween party on October 31st....look no further! Join the party that supports the 2026 Schuylkill Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade and the River Front Music Festival! The Coal-Fired Ramblers and the New Black Sage Project will entertain you with some age old bluegrass and Appalachian tunes to fit the harvest season. Optional games will be played every half hour and prizes will be given. The $10 adult/$5 per child (under 10) admission fee will include the following food items: fresh baked ham or turkey on roll with side choice of potatoe salad, mac salad, pasta salad, chips, pretzels, pumpkin pie, cupcakes, spiced cider, cheeses, crackers, and more! 🎻🎃🪕
