From the moment StreetFest opened, Little Italy was filled with a steady flow of people, music, food, families, shopping, and community; and we cannot thank you enough for spending your Saturday with us at the 21st Annual Little Italy StreetFest!

Mother Nature was a little talkative yesterday 🌬️, but we will happily take a breeze over rain any day!

To our returning vendors and all of the new vendors who joined us this year: thank you. We had vendors selling out throughout the day, and seeing so many people stopping, shopping, eating, and discovering new businesses is exactly what StreetFest is about.

A HUGE thank-you goes to the Union College students and every volunteer who lent a hand throughout the day. Events like this simply do not happen without people willing to jump in wherever they are needed.

Special thanks to Delwone and DSIC for the incredible support keeping Little Italy clean throughout the festival. You made a very big job look remarkably easy.

And how about Anthony LaBarbera and the Fast Four?! When we say they had people literally dancing in the streets, we mean it. 💃🕺

Our newly expanded Bambini Corner was also a joy to see come alive. Thank you to Bounce A Lot 'N More for delivering some fantastic equipment for our youngest StreetFest visitors. We are already thinking about how we can grow Bambini Corner even further next year with more activities, games, attractions, and family-friendly vendors.

Thank you as well to all of the vendors who contributed to this year’s Gift Basket Raffle and helped us create another fun StreetFest experience.

And to everyone who stopped by our Merch Tent; WOW. We apologize that our supply of StreetFest shirts was so limited this year. You definitely showed us that we need MORE! 👕 We may just have to find an excuse for a StreetFest Merch Pop-Up sometime before next year’s event. 😉

Please allow approximately 3 weeks for production. Anyone purchasing a future-pickup item will be contacted with pickup date and location information by the end of the day Sunday, September 13.

🎶’TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE STREETFEST🎶

’Twas the night before StreetFest, and through Little Italy,
The sidewalks stood quiet; as calm as could be.
The banners were hung from the streetlights with care,
For tomorrow, thousands would soon gather there.

The vendors were ready, their tents packed up tight,
With tables and treasures all set for first light.
The kitchens were prepping, the sauce simmered low,
While dreams filled with meatballs and zeppole dough. 😋

The baskets were bundled, the raffle slips paired,
The Bambini Corner was ready and prepared.
And over the Main Stage, one thing was quite clear:
There’d be plenty of music for everyone to hear. 🎶

At noon come The Rogues, playing straight until two,
Then at two-thirty, there’s something brand new.
Anthony LaBarbera and Fast Four take the stage,
Till five-thirty rolls in and we turn the next page.

Then Ed Clifford, “The Human Jukebox,” takes flight,
From five-thirty onward and into the night.
And up at the entrance, from opening till done,
DJ Gru keeps the music and good times spun. 🎧

So whether you’re dancing or shopping around,
There’ll be music and laughter all over downtown.
With family and friends and memories to make;
And probably more cannoli than one person should take.

So get some good sleep, Schenectady, tonight…
Because tomorrow Little Italy comes ALIVE! ❤️🤍💚

For 21 years, Little Italy StreetFest has brought our neighborhood and community together for a day celebrating food, family, local businesses, entertainment and the spirit of Little Italy.

Tomorrow, we do it again.

The vendors are getting ready.
The restaurants are getting ready.
The entertainment is lined up.
Bambini Corner is waiting for the kids.
The baskets are ready.
And Little Italy is getting ready to welcome all of you.

All FREE on weekends!

🚧 Street Closures:
N. Center St to Warren St will be closed; Union at N. Jay Street to South Ave will be closed.

🎟️ Admission:
There is NO entrance fee to this event.

🎈 Bambini Corner:
Located 1/4 way down the event.

👕 StreetFest Merch & Basket Raffle:
Located at the entrance of StreetFest by the DJ!

💳 Payments:
Forms of payment accepted vary by vendor, cash is always king. For your convenience, there are two ATMs located on the street.

🎆Other Facts:
You're free to bring your own chair, but keep your own canopy at home.
You're also free to bring Fido, but they must remain leashed at all times!
You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol due to NYS Liquor Authority Guidelines.

Call for Vendors

We're now accepting vendor applications for the 21st Annual Little Italy StreetFest.

There are a few important updates for this year:

• Fully Digital Application – No more paper forms, checks, or mailing delays. All applications and payments are handled online.
• Assigned Arrival Time Slots – Each vendor must select a setup time when applying. Space and types of vendors within each time slot is limited, and vendors are required to arrive at their selected time.
• Gift Basket Blind Auction Option – Some booth options include a $25 discount in exchange for providing a gift basket (approx. $25 value), which will be used in our blind auction fundraiser.
