We hope you're looking forward to as much as we are! Please see below for important reminders when planning to pick up your badge.
- All attendees must pick up their own badge.
The only exception to this is that a parent/guardian may pick up a minor's badge, provided the minor's badge is on the same order as the parent/guardian's badge or the minor and the parent/guardian share the same last name.
- You must show your government-issued photo ID.
When you present your Eventbrite QR code for scanning, the registration team will also ask to see your government-issued photo ID (Driver's license, state, provincial, or tribal ID, current military ID, passport, etc.). Temporary IDs that include a photo are also acceptable, and we will also accept current-year school photo IDs for students 19 years of age or younger.
If you do not have a photo ID and your parent/guardian is dropping you off, please make sure they accompany you to registration to help you pick up your badge.
- The name on your ID MUST match the name on your badge registration.
The first and last name on the badge registration MUST match the legal name on your ID. (Your Badge Name can still be whatever you want.) Only slight variations in your first name are acceptable, such as Sue vs Susan or Charlie vs Charles. If you have recently filed for a name change but have not yet received your new ID, we will allow your badge to be registered under your new name as long as you are able to provide your temporary documentation along with your old ID.
If you need to update the name that's on your registration, you can do so in your Eventbrite account. Find the "View and manage your order online" link in your original order confirmation, or click the "View Order" button in the email you should be receiving with this same info.
- Finally, if you wish, you can cover up the name code on your badge after we hand it to you.
Our badges have a six-letter code in the corner, made up of the first three letters of your last and first names. We only use this to sort the badges alphabetically so we can find yours faster, so it no longer has a purpose once you have received it. If you prefer not to have this visible, you are welcome to cover it up. There should be stickers available at registration for this purpose, if you would like one.
