Burgundy, rattan, and string lights everywhere you looked at Von Trapp Resort, the kind of tent that makes a case for autumn weddings every time. Deep red florals and greenery carried straight through from the hilltop ceremony, and the glow only got better once the dancing started 🍂

Drum shade pendants and string lights filled this tent at Von Trapp Resort, warm and layered over live trees and ivory florals. The kind of lighting design that kept building as the night went on, brighter and warmer by the time the dance floor filled.

The first official week of fall just wrapped, which has us thinking about the rich color palettes and foliage New England has coming shortly. This French's Point tented reception from last autumn is exactly the kind of thing that comes to mind. Rattan pendants hung low through rich greenery and the tent glowing warm against the dark by the time dinner wrapped.

Lighting and greenery come together beautifully in this coastal Maine wedding at the Bar Harbor Club. ✨

For this sailcloth tent, Capiz honeycomb pendants were suspended at varying heights and wrapped with botanical installations, creating a design that felt organic and textural by day and warm and softly illuminated as evening settled in.

A look back at a tented reception at The Asticou Hotel that we still think about. Crystal globe chandeliers and warm pendants hung low through overhead greenery and sheer ceiling draping, and the room filled up quickly once dinner wound down. By the end of the night the dance floor was packed, and the evening closed with fireworks while the tent stayed lit against the dark sky.

Landfall Designs planned and designed a celebration that made every layer of the room easy to build on, and Jacqui Cole's photographs carry that glow from the first frame to the last. Lighting, draping, and greenery worked alongside the whole team to keep the tent warm from cocktails through the final song.

Maine Wedding + Event Planner ✈️ | Nicole Mower built a colorful, casual celebration around the venue’s beloved oceanfront views, and within that vision, custom drum shade pendants and scalloped draping lined the tent, with lighting tuned to carry the room from a bright coastal afternoon into late-night dancing under canvas.

New feature on WedVibes Media! This one follows Sarah and Graham's weekend wedding at French's Point on the Maine coast. The lighting and draping carried the tent from a sunlit afternoon ceremony into a warm, late-night dance floor, with color-washed ceilings and layered fixtures doing a lot of that work.

A private estate wedding with the Atlantic as backdrop, tables set long beneath a sail-cloth tent. Perry and Chris's reception layered hydrangea and garden roses into a suspended fixture overhead, ocean visible through the open sides of the tent all evening.

Rigging, AV, and lighting throughout the event worked alongside HMR Designs and this whole production team to bring the vision to life.
