👑 THE CROWN IS IN MOTION: SERVICE SEASON BEGINS
You may not have seen much of Miss Savannah Juneteenth, Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth, and our Runner-Up on social media or in the news lately—but the work has not stopped!
These young ladies are seniors, making their mark during their final year of high school while preparing to launch their pageant-year community service projects.
First up is A Coat for the Season, beginning September 17. This community initiative will support students from elementary through high school, with a strong focus on providing modern, age-appropriate coats for teenagers.
Elementary-size coats will support children in CFTA’s The LAB after-school program, while coats for middle and high school students will be distributed throughout Savannah and surrounding communities.
The campaign will also feature Complete the Coat, providing accessories and other cold-weather essentials, and will conclude with Coats and Confidence Day—a special distribution experience centered on warmth, encouragement, wellness, and confidence.
Want to learn how you or your organization can be part of the campaign? Visit MissSavannahJuneteenth.org or email [email protected] for partnership and giving opportunities.
Coat request applications will open on the website next week. Requests will be reviewed and verified, and coats will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis according to available sizes and inventory.
They are not simply wearing the crown—they are becoming it.
