Savannah Book Festival The Savannah Book Festival is an annual literary event in celebration of the written word. We are an independent nonprofit with a board of volunteers.

The Savannah Book Festival is an annual world-class literary event bringing more than 40 popular and critically-acclaimed authors and thousands of readers together in historic Savannah, Georgia. The 2023 book festival will be held President's Day weekend, February 16-19, 2023. SBF congratulates 2026 Festival Author Steve Oney, who was announced as a finalist for Fordham’s Sperber Prize. From Fordham’s Department of Communication and Media Studies, the Fordham’s Sperber Prize honors biographies and memoirs focused on journalism and storytelling. This years winner will be announced on October 1st, 2026.
