Hi Guys,

I hope all is well. We have just wrapped up our first Executive Board meeting. Some applications are in and plans and dates of events are being set. Adjutant positions and appointments are being reviewed and should be announced soon.

We will be appointing an adjutant (preferably a Past Adjutant) to serve as a coordinator for East Side Staging (N. Abercorn, E Gwinnett, N. Lincoln, and S. Lincoln) and West Side Coordinator (W. Gwinnett, S. Abercorn, N. Drayton, and S. Drayton). These positions are an attempt to ensure the adjutants are in position with all materials and assistance they may need. Also, they will have the responsibility to introduce and orient any new members as to what the duties entail.

As most of us realize, staging is primarily set after breakfast and usually done by 9:30 am, so this time is most crucial to have all hands-on deck. After that time adjutants will be able to walk with their families, stay and move units through staging to main funnel, or be on route detail. Your time is most appreciated, so please let the East or West Coordinator know of your intentions so we may ensure positions are covered.

Tim Mahoney, Randall Fleenor, and I are aware of the need to ensure coordination with the City of Savannah for porta potties, barricades, and removal of cars parked in staging area. We will be coordinating with team leaders to ensure their best location. Also, we will have a dolly on site!

We will attempt to have an East Side meeting and a West Side meeting before September. We will be having a full adjutant meeting in September (halfway to St. Patrick's Day), details will be announced later.

Thank you all for volunteering and looking forward to celebrating this amazing 200th year with y'all.

Thank you,

Michael Kenny
