ENTERTAINMENT SHOWCASE!

Their music is played from the heart and soul. They don’t try to play reggae -- their expression is reggae. Swaby is the reggae experience you won't want to miss. You won't just hear the music, you’ll feel the message from this authentic ensemble. Their performance includes reggae standards and original music.

Swaby takes the main stage at Savage Fest at 3 pm. Come early and stay late....you won't want to miss this!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

* How do I get to Savage Fest?

Use 9035 Baltimore Street, Savage, MD 20763 (Carroll Baldwin Hall) in your GPS and follow the signs to Baldwin Common in Historic Savage!
From the South (US 1): Left on Gorman Road, then right on Foundry Street.
From the North (US 1): Right on Howard Street and continue onto Baltimore Street.
From the West (MD 32): Take the US 1/Laurel exit, then right at the light onto Howard Street.
From the East (MD 32): Take the US 1/Laurel exit, then right at the light onto Howard Street.

* Where can I park when I get to Savage Fest?

Parking is very limited at Baldwin Common. Please plan to park (free!) at one of the following locations: Bethel Christian Academy (8455 Savage Guilford Rd), First Baptist Church of Savage (8901 Washington St.), Savage Mill upper lot (follow Washington St. east to the lot), or Savage Park (Follow Baltimore St. east to Fair St. then right into the park).

* Will I need cash at Savage Fest?

Most vendors accept multiple forms of electronic payment as well as cash. Cash is preferred for buying tickets for the kid’s attractions (pony ride, inflatables, etc.). Credit cards are accepted but a small fee will be applied to each transaction. There is an ATM in Savage Mill and at the Seven Star Market across from Baldwin Hall.

* Is there an entrance fee to Savage Fest?

Savage Fest is free! You can listen to the music, watch the performances, enjoy the pet parade, spend time with your friends and family, and soak up the small-town charm, all without spending a nickel. But you’re going to want to shop at our awesome vendors and sample our incredible array of food trucks, so bring your wallets and purses!

Durvasa is an Indian-born folk singer who seamlessly fuses styles from Begali folk to Traditional Americana, to Top 40 Pop songs. From Tagore to Bob Dylan, to Lady Gaga, Durvasa shows how music belongs to humankind rather than a single culture. Music is the ultimate expression of our connection with each other, and Durvasa beautifully crafts this lesson with catchy melodies, sick guitar licks, and multiple languages.
