Sauk Rapids, lock this date into your calendar right now. On Friday, July 24th, we are bringing one of the hardest-touring, most authentic country-rock outfits in the nation to the yard. Get ready for the Joe Stamm Band (JSB)!

If you haven't experienced JSB live yet, they don't play corporate radio fluff. Joe Stamm and his crew coined their own genre: "Black Dirt Country Rock." It’s a heavy, un-apologetic blend of gritty Midwestern heartland storytelling and the massive, guitar-driven energy of the Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt scene. Think Turnpike Troubadours lyrics backed by the raw power of Blackberry Smoke or Whiskey Myers.

FROM THE GRIDIRON TO THE HIGHWAY
Frontman Joe Stamm grew up in the cornfields of central Illinois. He was a standout, quarterback who played college ball at Northern Illinois University until injuries ended his football career. He picked up a guitar, started writing down the stories of the truck stops, dives, and blue-collar people of middle America, and never looked back.

They are hitting our Big Outdoor Stage fresh off the success of their incredible album Little Crosses (produced by Al Torrence, the lead guitar player for Charles Wesley Godwin). You’ll hear a wall of sound powered by heavy drums, blazing dual-guitar work, and massive crowd favorites like "Midwest Town," "Pocketful of Quarters," "Ahold of My Heart," and "Territory Town."
