Jude Bass Classic has been raising money for the children and their families of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for over 40 years. With the exception of 2019 it has never been canceled for 48 years. This year we want to continue with the 48th annual St. Jude Open Bass Classic. Over the years

St. Jude Open Bass & Cat Tournament

There will be two different division to fish. When registering participants will choose what division they would like to fish.
First Place will pay $5000.00 for each division and pay five places for each division.
Both divisions will be a Team only tournament.
The Catfish Division will be a ACA sanctioned event.
All proceeds will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

51st Annual St. Jude Open Bass Classic

This years online and mail-in registration will close on May 20th. Anyone wanting to fish the tournament after this date can register at the Batesville Civic Center May 25th from 1pm to 3pm. There will not be any tournament registration tournament day.

All the Tournament shirts and hats will be sold this year. Tournament participants can purchase their shirt and hat at tournament registration at the Batesville Civic Center between 1pm and 3pm May 25th. The remaining shirts and hats will be sold at the tournament.

We would like to graciously thank War Eagle Boats for sponsoring the 2024 Annual St. Jude Open Bass Tournaments. They will be donating a Blackhawk 961 with a Custom Trailer. Everyone that enters the tournaments will receive a draw ticket for a chance to win this boat. Thank you again Team Ward.

51st Annual St. Jude Open Bass Classic. We are still looking for someone to take over the tournament this year. We have been in contact with some great people so far but no commitments yet. This tournament will still take place regardless. As much as Lane and I have enjoyed helping the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the great friendship's we have had, I can no longer physically do it anymore. I have recently been diagnosed with severe Scoliosis to my spine. I will go in the hospital for 2 weeks in February to have 3 different spine surgeries and then I will have a 6 to 12 month recovery period. Everything will be provide to anyone wanting to take over the tournament to include equipment, permits, sponsors, volunteers, operating funds and anything else that would be needed. Lane and I will stay on as consultants/volunteers to insure everything runs smoothly. Please keep us in your prayers so we can keep this much needed fundraiser going. Due to personal reasons Lane and I will be stepping down from the Annual St. Jude Open Bass Classic tournament. We are looking for someone to take it over in 2024. We have enjoyed our time raising money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and meeting some great people along the way. We pray that someone will step up and keep this 50 year old fundraiser going for the children at St. Jude. We will be available to help anyone who wants to take this position, the sooner the better.
