Saratoga Jazz Festival The Saratoga Jazz Festival is held annually on the last weekend of June.

Greg Thompson, the founder and organizer of Thompson’s Jazz Posse, has led the group since 1998. They have made it a tradition to attend the Saratoga Jazz Festival annually on the last weekend of June. The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, a vast amphitheater situated in Saratoga Springs, New York, within the Saratoga Spa State Park, hosts a variety of summer performances, including classical music, jazz, pop, rock, country, dance, and opera.

Our Story Thompson’ Jazz Posse

The Thompson's Jazz Posse is a private group operating in Westchester County, north of New York City. The group reside in Tarrytown N.Y. Founder and Organizer Greg Thompson. This group has been together since 1998, made up of Jazz enthusiast. Every year for the last 42 years the group has been attending the Saratoga Jazz Festival. Which take place each year during the last weekend in June in Saratoga Springs N.Y.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center is a large Amphitheatre located in Saratoga Springs, New York, on the grounds of Saratoga Spa State Park. It presents summer performances of classical music, jazz, pop and rock, country, comedy, dance, opera, as well as a Wine & Food Festival.
