Focused on Safety!
Safety Awareness and Education Corporation is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide safety related information and education to our community in a fun and engaging way. To achieve that we put together an annual Festival type event. The S.A.F.E. Day Festival brings all of the resources together in one place. It provides quality speakers, demonstrations and workshops, giveaways and safety related information at zero cost to the public. You can find anything from personal safety to health safety, gun safety, financial safety, home safety, water safety, fire safety and so much more!
This year we are focusing on increasing safety for children riding their bikes to and from school. We are working with the Sarasota School Police Department as well as Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and The Safe Routes to increase bike safety awareness and education for school age children. Proceeds from the 2020 event will help fund programs designed to increase the safety of children in our community.
Come by the Sarasota Fairgrounds on January 25th, 2020 between 10am and 4pm to learn valuable safety information, make important connections, and enjoy many fun, interactive activities and lectures throughout the day. Lots of free samples, services and giveaways. Great KidZone for the little ones! Try some of the delicious food offerings, including some local favorites and enjoy live music by local bands! Also, you can try your luck with our 50/50 raffle!
