The Sarasota World Dance Festival team regrets to inform you that we are postponing our event to a future date. We had originally scheduled our inaugural festival to take place on April 4, 2020. We have been monitoring the situation with COVID-19 very closely because your health is our number 1 priority.

Sarasota County has issued this statement, “To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our most vulnerable populations, Sarasota County will be canceling all events with anticipated attendance of 250 individuals or more at county facilities for the next 30 days beginning Friday, March 13.“

We understand the months of work so many of you have put into rehearsals, vending, and that many people were traveling long distances to be here. We appreciate all of your efforts and look forward to seeing your hard work pay off in the near future.

We can issue refunds for tickets, and fees. However, we hope that everyone who was planning to attend and participate will remain with us, and if so we can simply defer your payments and hold your places in the event.

We will be announcing a new date as soon as possible! Thank you for your support and cooperation!

We are sponsoring a SPECIAL ENTERTAINMENT at the 15th Annual Parents Association Spring Fling.

At Evening Under The Stars
On March 28th
6pm-9pm.

Guests will enjoy an enchanting evening under the stars with passed hors d'oeuvres, a dinner buffet, dessert, and a cash bar. You'll have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items and participate in a LIVE auction. Put on your dancing shoes because DJ Dell Harris will be coming in from Atlanta to liven up the evening!
The center students will also enjoy a night out with games, pizza.
