A novel pathogen can reach six continents in 36 hours. The world's early warning infrastructure can't keep up.

The Milken Institute's Catalytic Capital and FasterCures teams have designed two financing vehicles to help close that gap: a venture philanthropy fund for early-stage diagnostics and data tools, and a blended finance vehicle for country-level deployment. A Health Information Insight Exchange would connect it all.
The blueprint exists. The question is whether the capital will follow.
