A glowbox highlight: Emiko giggled all through my Upside-Down Experience session last July 4. On a solo trip from Japan, she was game for aerial adventure, and excited to join me and another guest in our quest for fireworks that night. Amidst swarms of humans, over-blaring all-merican radios and the brilliant finale . . . were three women from three different continents; arms draped round and faces stuck to the sky.
