Last week I sat down with George Noory for an interview on Strange Universe—his brand-new series, coming soon to Spark TV.

I always love talking with George. You just lean in—curious, open, a little fearless about the big questions. So that's exactly where we went: angels, the unseen, and what's been walking beside us all along.

And we got to do it in his new studio—a room built for the mysteries, with far-off worlds glowing behind us. The perfect place to talk about the ones closer than we think.

These were my writing partners. 🤍

Our incredible rescue dog, Champ, sat beside me through almost every writing session of Your Angelic Ancestry. The hummingbirds (whose feeders you can see hanging from the balcony) would visit throughout the day.

I discovered early on that I couldn't write this book indoors. I needed to be outside, surrounded by the spirit of nature. The trees, the mountains, the birds, the wind, and the quiet all became part of the writing process. Nature has a way of quieting the mind so the soul can speak.

I truly believe you can feel that presence throughout the book. The innocence of animals, the majesty of creation, and the quiet wisdom that flows through the natural world. So much of this book was written not only with the guidance of the Angels, but in partnership with the living world around me.

Looking back at these photos fills my heart with gratitude. Every page carries a little piece of these beautiful moments.

For over 30 years, I knew I was meant to write this book, but I never felt ready.

Then something happened that changed everything.

Hay House offered me a two-book deal, and suddenly I had a deadline I couldn't ignore. Sometimes the breakthrough isn't waiting until you feel ready; it's making a promise you're unwilling to break.

Before every writing session, I would kneel, surrender, and ask the angels to guide my words. Again and again, I felt the book being written through me rather than by me.

One day, I asked Archangel Michael, "What is this book really about?"

The answer became the opening message of Your Angelic Ancestry, a reminder that this book is more than information. It is an invitation to remember who you truly are.

My books arrived from Penguin Random House today! ✨

I haven't opened them. I'm waiting to do that with YOU—tomorrow, Sunday, June 14, at 1:30pm PT, live on my personal Facebook and on Zoom (link below). I'm doing it here because it's personal. You've walked this whole strange journey with me. You have my heart.

J-R told me to write this book 20 years ago. I took a minute to follow his suggestion. And even once it was finally written—I rarely call it "my" book; it belongs to Spirit and the Angels—Your Angelic Ancestry (Hay House / Penguin Random House) was delayed 18 months. Both my parents passed, weeks apart. Then the fire took my home in Pacific Palisades.

We prevailed anyway. TOGETHER. Thank you for that.

Almost everything has challenged this launch. You stayed. That means more than I can say.

This book baby did not arrive according to the birth plan. But how many of us did? Let's just get her into the world and let her grow roots and wings. 🪽

The voice of insecurity often speaks loudly, convincing us we are not ready, not worthy, or not enough. Yet beneath that noise is a deeper wisdom. The voice of the soul. A voice that remembers who you truly are.

Growth is not about becoming someone else. It is about allowing life's challenges to polish away what is false so that your truest, most radiant self can emerge. Just as a pearl is formed through friction, our greatest struggles can become the very path through which we discover our strength, purpose, and divine nature.

I think so many of us feel this. There is a quiet knowing within us that life is meant to be more than survival, more than rushing from one obligation to the next. Deep down, we remember something greater. We sense that we are here for a purpose, carrying gifts, wisdom, and love that long to be expressed.

Yet being human is not always easy. We can feel torn between the world as it is and the deeper truth our soul knows. The journey is not about escaping Earth, but about bringing more of Heaven into our lives—more love, more presence, more compassion, and more of who we truly are.

This is one of the central themes of Your Angelic Ancestry: learning how to surrender to the wisdom of your Spiritual heart and embody the highest version of yourself while fully embracing the human experience.
